once i had a fish
he was awfully cute
he liked to eat fish flakes
and he like to swim through hoops
one day when i was gone
a kitten tried to catch him
but Mr. Fish was mighty fast
and mittens couldn't snatch him
when i returned home i found
a kitten with wet paws
and a happy little fish
who had escaped the mighty claws
